Update by Candice on Gala and GOP Org meeting
At the April 2nd meeting, Candice provided a rundown on the CO GOP Gala, held March 28th at the Phil Long Music Hall (previously known at the Boot Barn). There were protests outside the event that provided minor disruption to those arriving, but did not interfere with the actual event. This was the third venue for the event, the previous two event venues canceled due to the pressures of the liberal left.
The guest speaker was Steve Bannon. Candice has been a big fan of Steve’s ever since she met him at Mike Lindel’s conference in MO. In fact, when she walked up to speak with Steve, he called her MO, recognizing that he met her in MO twice.
Candice continued to give a summary of the highlights of his speech which you can watch for your self at Colorado GOP Dinner.
Candice then talked about the contentious CO GOP Organizational meeting held on March 29th, the next day, where a new slate of officers were elected. Though we may not agree with everything these officers stand for, we do wish them luck in bringing the party together and getting more Republicans elected.
