What HB25-1312 does:
-Redefines “coercive control” to include “misgendering” or “deadnaming” your own child—making it grounds for losing custody in family court or through CPS.

-Defines misgendering and deadnaming as a form of discrimination under the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act—forcing every business and public space to comply.

-Violates the constitutional rights of parents to raise their children and make decisions about their care, education, and well-being without government interference.
