Christy “Ruckus” Fidura Returns to the RSF
On January 7th, 2026, Christy “Ruckus” Fidura, a dedicated committee woman, addressed the Republican Strategy Forum, bringing local issues to the national stage. With over a year in office and a grassroots majority, Christy emphasized the importance of ensuring the country’s survival and growth.
Christy shared her ongoing training in fundraising and communications, crucial skills for advancing the party’s agenda. She highlighted the roles of various national committees, such as the RNC (Republican National Committee) and the NSRC (National Senatorial Republican Committee), which focus on supporting candidates running for Senate. Similar committees exist for the House and gubernatorial races. Some members of the RSF have received questionnaires from these groups as part of the vetting process.
Addressing the financial struggles of the state party, Christy revealed that members are increasingly donating directly to candidates rather than the party. She stressed the need to refocus efforts on the primary goal of getting Republicans elected.
Christy also discussed her visit to the Colorado Capitol and the possibility of donating food to support legislators. A GiveSendGo campaign has been set up for this purpose, accessible at givesendgo.com/feedaleg. Additionally, she spoke about her role in testifying to support key bills and encouraged all RSF members to also participate in testifying.
The RNC has committed to supporting Colorado, particularly noting the highly contested race in Colorado’s 8th Congressional District (CD8), led by candidate Evans. This race is considered one of the most competitive in the country.
Christy touched on current national issues, including the release of the Epstein files. However, she noted that Pam Bondi must be cautious due to the sensitive nature of the Grand Jury file.
Regarding the Department of Justice (DOJ), Christy mentioned that the Department of Prisons is on their watch list. She highlighted that Tina, a figure within the prison system, is viewed more positively due to the attention being given to the conditions inside. Prisoners have been cleaning black mold without proper protective equipment (PPE).
Christy also addressed broader international concerns, stating that Venezuela’s issues are not just about drug boats and oil but also about fixing our elections.
In discussing voter trends, Christy pointed out that many voters have shifted from the Republican Party to unaffiliated status. She advised that when engaging with voters, it’s important not to focus on party affiliations.
Election Integrity remains a high priority, with potential charges looming for Jena Griswold. Christy concluded by noting the significant role of the 4600 lawyers deployed by Trump during the 2024 election, which helped protect the integrity of the electoral process.
Christy “Rukus” Fidura’s address to the Republican Strategy Forum underscored the critical issues facing the party and the nation, emphasizing the need for focused efforts and strategic action to achieve their goals.
