Josh Griffin – Candidate for CO Governor
By Nancy Murray
Josh Griffin visited RSF on 28 May to present his case for Governor.
Mr. Griffin is the founder of TacticalLabX.com, a revolutionary company working with the military to produce strong, light weight, products.
Mr. Griffin is an Army veteran with 20 years of deployment in Afghanistan. He was reviously a Bonus Member to the State Republican party and ran for CD5 in 2024, but did not win in the primary. He will petition onto the ballot for the Governor because he does not feel the caucus process is fair and unbiased, a feeling shared by other RSF members.
Firm supporter of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Stated that the number of democrats in the state are decreasing and feels that we have a good chance to take back the state.
Platform will include being a unifier, focused on generational wealth and innovation.
Like most discussions with politicians in the area, water was a hot topic. Mr. Griffin believes we need to build more desalination projects and in fact is visiting Texas soon to tour the worlds largest desalination plant in El Paso.
His view to bring new businesses into Colorado and require a percentage of employees be Colorado residents was challenged as not being a free market solution. He said he would research this further after the point was made.
Mr. Griffin’s main message or theme is “unification” and “allow” democrats and republicans to divorce from the extremes of their party in hopes of making the election “too big to rig”. He realizes that to do this, he needs to raise a large amount of money.
