Mark Spangler From Protect Kids Colorado
By Nancy Murray
Mark Spangler, with Protect Kids Colorado, gave an update on the status of the three petitions currently before the Title Board. All three petitions are expected to be fully approved sometime in July and ready for signature collection. The organizers are looking for patriots to help circulate the petitions. Each petition requires 125,000 signatures to qualify for placement on the 2026 general election ballot.
The ballot initiatives address the following three issues:
1. Protect Our Children from Child Sex Trafficking
2. Protect Our Girls’ Sports from Biological Males
3. Protect Our Children from Irreversible Sex Change Surgery
These petitions are a response to HB25-1312, recently signed into law in Colorado, which critics say inserts the State between parents and their children by using the school system.
Spangler also recommended that everyone watch the Art Club Movie. The film tells the story of a young girl whose school attempted to transition her to a boy during an after-school “Art Club,” without informing her parents. The girl’s mother, Erin Lee, is now part of the leadership team at Protect Kids Colorado.
