New Property Protection Notification Service
The County Clerk and Recorder, Steve Schleiker, announced a new Recording Notification Service that his office just launched to help residents with property protection. This free tool will notify residents (who sign up) when a document is recorded in their name. Here’s how to sign up:
STEP 1
Click the Property Protection icon on the home page for the Recording Department at epcrecords.com.

STEP 2
Go to the Recording Notification Service by clicking the “Register for Recording Notification Service” button.

STEP 3
Sign up with an email you would like to receive notifications at. You will be sent a link to that email to verify. Once verified, you can register up to 10 names or businesses you would like to be notified for. For example, I would recommend variations of your name with some including your middle name.

After you enter your email address you will receive an email with your verification code. After entering the code you are allowed to enter up to 10 names for each verified email address. It is highly recommended that you include all variations of your name that your property is registered to and include any business names.
You can reach out to Steve Schleiker if you have questions at steveschleiker@elpasoco.com.
